Meeting Cara

What an awesome day in the lives of all of us! Cara is the daughter of my dear special friend - whom I met on line just after our referral in Dec 2011. Heather is the greatest thing ever, she's the one that spent a week with Emma in her orphanage back in June/July of 2011 when she was just about 4.5 months old. And she and her family came to visit us. This is there beautiful 3 yr old adopted from China name Cara.
Auntie Heather holding Emma all over again. First in China and now our very own living room!
And Emma even gave her kisses and hugs! Heather fell in love all over again.
The girls played so very well together. Here Emma is trying to sit up straight to kiss Cara. She was so tried, she hasn't her had nap today. She tried to take one at 10:20 but Momma wasn't going to let her at this point.
They really loved the water - Cara went back and forth more then a few dozen times loading those buckets up and sharing with Emma.
Uncle Mike was playing with her too, and even watched her in the pool. She loved him and the boys. Emma loved the whole family.
And this is the family, Cameron is 11, Heather, Cara 3, Conner 8 and Michael.
Saying their good-byes and holding hands....oh how sweet that was. I can see myself moving to TN to be close to them one day. And this will not be the only time we get together, we are family and we do plan on going to TN for a visit before a year pasts by.

Today, we celebrated the girls 1st labor day together. Nicole is coming around more and more, the more we see her the more she likes us.! I'm so glad to finally see her smile when she's around us. She's such a cute little girl. Emma and Nicole will be forever friends.

Yesterday, Nicole celebrated her very 1st month of being home and today, Emma celebrates her 6 month being home.
