Asia Fest
Today we attended our very first Asia Fest with Emma! We have been to a few Chinese New Year events way before our time with her. My friend Ileanna told us about it and of-course we jumped right on it. We want to start on yearly new traditions with Emmma now that she's home. We were meeting Ily and her family at her house at 8:30, but we were going to show up just a bit earlier being Ily wanted me to paint Isabella's nails. Our little one looked adorable as she always does. We were also meeting our friend Annemarie, Howie and Nicole there, and another friend of mine that I have already met before going to China, but never her girls. And Ily was also meeting a friend who also lived in Naples, it was going to be an incredible day for all. We get to meet each others friends and have our Asian Community grow! God works in wonderful ways bringing families together and i'm/we're always feeling Bless by it.
Emma and her friend Isabella.
We have arrived at our event, this was taken outside the entrance!
This little girl is Megan. The story behind this one, my goodness small world. This child is acutally coming to Emma's party next week. I've known her Mama for a good amount of years and had no idea she was going to be there. Megan and her Mom Bobby Jo came with a friend who just so happens to be Ileanna's friend Kelly. So that is who Ily was suppose to catch up with and she and Bobby Jo were together. Oh my gosh, Kelly was getting ready to introduce her friend to us and I said out "LOUD" oh my gosh, I know her, she's my friend! Friend #1 meeting today
This is little Amy, she just came home about 5 months ago and is 15 months old. She's from the same Province as Emma. Friend #2 today and I'm happy to say that Amy is coming to Emma's party!! I love making friends and the more we make, the more parties we too can go to! I love that my local friends girls all will grow up knowing each other and become good friends.
Emma, just loves to mingle with people. This group of girls fall in love with Emma. The girl to our right in the gray shirt said she was adopted too! I wish I would have gotten her name. Ily wanted to know how I got the girls to take their pic with Emma. I told her I just ask if I could take their picture and they were thrilled to have that done.
And Emma went right up to this lady! I guess she saw a Grandmom in here!
This is Judy with Emma....she too loved her little face and those dimples of hers. She ask if she could take Emma's pic, I let her then I got one of them too together. I guess technically this is friend #3
Emma and Isabella were getting a butterfly painted on their hand. This is Emma's
This is Isabella's
My friend and her friend, now all friends! Ily, myself and Kelly with our girls, Isabella, Emma and Amy
This is friend #4 - her name is Josie - she's the daughter of my friend (Colleen) who met us there as well.
Friend #5 Anna - also Colleen's daughter
Our girls taking the stage...I think Emma is going to be an entertainer. That child, shook her butt in front of the crowd, clapped and jumped up and down. I have the cutest video of her doing that.
Friend #6 - this is Emma, she too is the daughter of Colleen. She loved my Emma.
We are wrapping up our day and I wanted to get one last picture of Colleen's girls together.
As we were leaving, Annemarie called and said she was still at the Art show in Cape Coral and that she couldn't find Howie. Said she's not sure what time they will show up, I told her take your time, we're loading up now and heading out. That was at around 12:15/12:30..it was time for lunch and we were not waiting around any longer. Sad thing is, we had this planned now for a few weeks and they choose to do an Art show first. If it were me, which it wasn't - I would have wanted to meet up with my friends first then do an art show. It was a bit disappointed, but we two families had a blast together. We went out and had lunch, then went to Zen Garden and I got myself a Chinese dress to wear next week. It just fits me, it would be nice to knock off at least 3 pounds for next Sunday, but I just may have to suck it in.
So here I added chop sticks to the girls hair!
And here they both are all excited about seeing the fishes.
So as for the header on this blog now, I need to re-do it and add 6 new Asian girls to it. Emma's world is getting big and that's one goal in life I want for her. I want her meeting as many Asian people as possible.

Play date with Erin
Emma greeted her sister with open arms this morning. Update on the sister bit, they both lived in the same orphanage together, so we Mommy's and Daddy's traveled together and brought our girls home together.
Erin at first did not like that slide.
They both love to be read too!
Playing together again...
Time for lunch, everyone eat all their food, we had grilled hot dogs, chips, fruits of all sorts.
After lunch we took a walk to the park. The park is 15 minutes away!
The girls had such a great time playing together. I hope this is now first of many times getting them together!
We Mommy's with our precious girls.
My favorite photo of them both!
Emma trying to steal a kiss from her sister!
Took Erin a while to warm up to me, it was cute when Emma was done walking across that orange thing above she's standing on, that Erin wanted to do the same. So I guess Mommy didn't want to do it with her, that she came to me with her arms open and wanted me to walk her across. Did I say that I love that girl? I do!
Back at the house now watching "Tangled", oh my like my 50 time just this week. I'm a sucker for that movie and I can't seem to get sick of it. So I gave them both a lollipop.
A little more play time...
I have had such a blast this weekend, surrounded by beautiful little Asian girls. And they all came home last year. Erin and Emma in March, Nicole in Aug and Isabella in Dec. I'm so looking forward to Emma celebrating her 1st birthday here as all of these little girls will be back!

Play date with Isabella and Nicole
First play date as the Three Princesses as I call them on there special blog. So Isabella came over early and we had some one on one time before Nicole showed up. Ileanna wanted me to paint her fingers, as she has never had that done before.
Our little toes
and fingers...
Nicole and her Mom came late, so we just headed out to Wendy's for a bit to eat, then we had one on one with Nicole after our quick 10 min photo shot outside.
I love Nicole's expression coming down that slide, she had such a good time and always does when she's over here.
Emma loves Nicole as much as I do!

Emma, Ben and Jazzy
Emma really is enjoying herself at Church more and more. And she really likes Ben and Jazzy. They were both adopted too and Ben came home 3 months before Emma in Dec 2011 and Emma came home in March of 2012
He's a special needs little boy and will be 4 on Feb 1st. They both share a Feb birthday. Ben has a bone disorder problem, not sure what they call it. But I will say he's the smartest little thing and so flipping handsome. Most adorable little Asian boy I have ever seen.
Emma with Ben's Daddy, she knows a good daddy when she see's one. He is such a sweet, loving, caring guy.

Exchanging gifts with Isabella
Would you look at these two! They are simply stinking adorable together. I completely believe that Emma and Isabella would be closer then Emma and Nicole. Bella lives so much closer and this is the 2nd time the girls have met each other. Isabella seems to be doing much better, in playing with Emma and even sharing her stuff.
Look at them holding hands, is that not cute or what? I'm so in heaven with the little girls who are now in our lives, and very happy for Emma to have them.
